Fârte, Gheorghe-Ilie

Having a BA in Philosophy and a PhD in Logic Gheorghe-Ilie Fârte is an associate professor of logic, communication theory, political communication and public relations at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi. He is director of the Department of Communication Sciences and Public Relations. His research focused particularly on logical quantifiers, praxeological models of communication, democratic public discourse, and the libertarian approach to politics. At present, he investigates – in the field of doxastic rhetoric – the mechanisms of forming evidence-based (political) beliefs in the public sphere. He enjoyed a research stay at the Ludwig von Mises Institute and shares the main ideas of the Austrian School.
