Luis Alberto Iglesias
Luis Alberto Iglesias holds a B.A. in Business Administration from ICADE (Madrid, Spain), a master’s degree in Austrian School Economics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain), and a Ph.D. in Translation from Universidad de Salamanca (Spain). He speaks Spanish, French, Italian and English and has translated over 25 books on subjects ranging from economics and finance to magic and the performing arts.
From 2011 to 2015 Luis worked as communication and education manager for Instituto Juan de Mariana, Spain’s most influential free-market independent think tank. Since then, he has worked as Communication and Human Resources consultant for corporations across Europe. In the fall of 2017 he joined Value School, a Spanish not-for-profit organization for the advancement of financial literacy.
Luis is also a member of the Spanish Society of Magicians. He has written two books on sleight-of-hand and he is frequently invited to attend magic conventions, where he lectures on the history of magic and interprets at live shows and workshops by the world’s greatest magicians.
